Teams message content keyword

I have a flow where I want to type in a message in a teams channel and tag with #DevOpsAlert. This will produce a message in another team and its announcement channel as well as put a message in a specific yammer group. Essentially a means to generate a broadcast messsage from a single point. The origin would be a private team whereas the others are public facing.

Problem is that none of the teams body content options are scanning for #DevOpsAlert properly. Anyone have success in this area?

Re: Teams message content keyword

Is tagging currently supported in Microsoft Teams channels?

As far as I know, the way this feature works -in the context of Twitter or Yammer- was on the backlog

However you can use it when searching content:

I have tested this latter scenario successfully

Hope this helps
