Template named: "Alert me of positive or negative Facebook posts about my customers" not working for me

I am configuring the template "Alert me of positive or negative Facebook posts about my customers" and I keep getting the following error:

(#803) Some of the aliases you requested do not exist: v2

The source for the flow is a SharePoint list with one column named PageID and there is one row in the table with the full URL.

Any hints on what I might be missing?

HI @AgustB

That's something related to communication with Facebook. I've seen these issues coming up, but to be sure, could you please share a print of the error so that I can check what part of the Power Automation is erroring?

Here are screen shots of the error and I have highlighted where I think the issue is:

Take 2: 😀

FlowError1.pngFlowError2.png

Much better thanks 😀

Like I suspected, this error is related to the API calls to Facebook regarding the OAuth authentication.

Doing a quick google search, I can find a bunch (on other languages) of people that are getting the same issue.

One of them mentions, on Facebook's side, that some permissions may be required to achieve this. Here's an example:

https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/facebook-api-error-803-some-of-the-aliases-you-re...

Another

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/37479365/803-some-of-the-aliases-you-requested-do-not-exist-educ...

"Make sure you authorized with that permission."

So probably from Power Automation's side, all is good, but perhaps you need to give some permission from the Facebook site to be able to do that call.

Can you please double-check these permissions so that we can see if it works?

Thanks for your quick reply, I am still looking for the relevant setting and not having much success.

To experiment I created a company page where I am the admin and tried to use that one as the FB page to analyze but get the same error.  Going to do more trial/error and see where I get.

HI @AgustB

Sorry I can't help further but I'm almost sure that Facebook is to blame here..

Please share if you find a solution so that we can learn a little from it.
