Trying to use Post on Microsoft Teams when a new tweet matches the specified hashtag template

I'm trying to use the above template, but it gives an error. It says I have to fill in a type somewhere.

It's allready in a standard config, so why doesn't it work?

Re: Trying to use Post on Microsoft Teams when a new tweet matches the specified hashtag template

That specific template seems to be using the "When a new Tweet is posted" trigger from the Twitter connector and the "Post a message (Preview)" action from the Teams Connector.

I was able to reproduce your issue as well when I used the template. However, I was able to fix the error by deleting the template's "Alert the team (Preview)" action, and adding a new "Post a message (Preview)" action. The screenshot below shows a clean Flow Checker as confirmation.

There isn't an "Alert the team (Preview)" action in the Teams Connector, so I am guessing the template author simply renamed the "Post a message (Preview)" step when authoring the template. This functionality should be identical to the template.

Please could you post a bit more detail?

How about a screen shot of your Flow (I know it came from a template but it helps us) and a screen shot of the error message that you are seeing.

Thanks

it's in dutch, but shouldn't matter to understand the problem or would it?

Very Strange. I get the same when I create a Flow from that template.

It seems to be a bug in the template. I cannot see what should be changed to make it work.

However, I created the same Flow from a Blank Flow by adding a Twitter When a Tweet is Received trigger and adding a Post to Teams Action and it worked. So, maybe this time, just hand-crank it.

Re: Trying to use Post on Microsoft Teams when a new tweet matches the specified hashtag template

It works! But only with one search query. If it's something like: @example, #example it will post in Teams only after a match. I thought the comma would trigger a new search.

Hey there, @MarkStokes!

Thanks so much for reaching out! The "I Found a Bug" forum is where you may post any confirmed bugs within the default Flow templates. That board is monitored by our CST and product team who confirm and sort out the bugs from there.

Please be descriptive and include screenshots as you would when posting in any other forum board! 😁
