Hi everyone,
I have created a flow that updated another list (list2 is updated when an existing item is modified in list1 ) but it fails when it trys to update list2 ( text column) the data from list1 is a person/group column the data that in need in list2 needs to be the ID of list1 person/group column
Select your person or group column followed by Claims as the input for the person column in the update item action assuming that that only one person can be entered.
In my case my person column is called PG.
Thanks for the reply but In my list2 I will need the "Person ID" it should be numbers on my list1 the collumn displays "DispayName"
After reading your post again, I do see where you say that the column in list 2 is a text column. I am having trouble understanding why you need the ID to update a value in a text column where you can enter the display name from the list 1 person column. Is the column being updated a text column, a lookup or some other column type?
In fact I would like to combine several lists, the Master list will be "AllUsers" where I have all my users (1200 in total) the other lists also have the person/group column also unique in each list but the person/group does not necessarily exist in all sub-lists ,
I would like to retrieve some information from each list and update the master list "All Users" for example:
