Updating filename using Fileleafref

Hi,

After copying a file from one SP folder to another I need to append a reference to the filename. Problem is that the filename already contains a '.' in the middle (example: report.util_GB.xlsm) and using a http post to update the Fileleafref splits the name at the '.' (example: report.xlsm). Is there anyway to stop the name.from being trimmed?

Thanks.

I recommend you create the new file name in a compost step (from the old file name plus your appended text) and then use it to rename the file.  It is explained in this article:

Works perfectly!

Thank you!
