Dear all,
i wanted to use the "Use invoker's connection" feature on a dataverse action, in this specific case the trigger is "When a flow step is run from a business process flow" as shown below:
When trying to save this flow the following error message appears, which seems to simplay say that "the connection of the calling instance can not be activated for the flow ... For the connection of the calling instance, the Microsoft Dataverse trigger must be specified.
Complete error message:
Request to XRM API failed with error: 'Message: Flow client error returned with status code "BadRequest" and details "{"error":{"code":"InvokerConnectionUnsupportedWithoutCdsTrigger","message":"Die Verbindung der aufrufenden Instanz kann für den Flow \"ApiConnection -> Get a row by ID\" nicht aktiviert werden. Für die Verbindung der aufrufenden Instanz muss der Microsoft Dataverse-Trigger angegeben werden."}}". Code: 0x80060467 InnerError: '.

Hi @schlansr ,
The first action "When a flow step is run from a business process flow" is not giving you any option to specify whether to run the flow as :
1. Process Owner
2. Record Owner
3. Triggering user
which means you cannot use Use invoker's connection in next step. it will use the credentials specified or flow owners credentials.
Thanks
