multiple rows of text gets changed into one concatenated row when OneDrive word doc is converted to PDF

Using JotForm to collect form data, and the form collects (for one field) a bulleted list of items i.e.

-scholarly research

-publish in peer reviewed journals

Each submission is added to a new row in my excel "log" file of activity, and the mulit row list is stored in one excel cell, but shows as multiple rows.

I use the "populate a ms word template" to create a word doc, which looks good too.

Then I try to convert it to PDF, but it creates one row of text for all the rows of my list, and makes one long row, which suddenly isn't really acceptable for a professorship letter:

Here is my flow:

Any idea how I can keep the conversion from the word doc, to PDF, from consolidating my bullet list into one row of text?

(I have a paid JotForm plan, and full access to OneDrive for business which is where files used in my Flow are all stored)

Re: multiple rows of text gets changed into one concatenated row when OneDrive word doc is converted to PDF

Hi @Ken_Short,

I think it should be an issue when line break converts into the PDF, the line break couldn't be converted into the multiple text.

As a workaround, you could consider using the "1. " instead of "-". So it will be "1. scholarly search 2. Published in peer reviewed journals"
