trouble getting files from google drive

Hi,

I try to copy a file or file content from Google drive.

I tried different approaches - get file, get file content, list files, get file content by id etc.

There is always an error: The specified file is a Google Spreadsheet, which cannot be downloaded.

The connection to drive works, folders browseable from the google drive connector, files visible.

It doesn't matter if files are shared or not, published o not.

Always the same error.

I would appreciate your help!

Hi @aztk,

To get file content of google sheet, there is a special connector named Google sheet, you could use the Get rows action to get the Google Spreadsheet file content:Annotation 2020-07-22 145555.jpg

Hello @aztk

Are you talking about one specific file that always gives an error and for every other file it just works?

I just tried to get the file content from my Google Drive and it works for me.

Can you provide more details about the error - code, message, etc.?

Kind regards, John

Hi,

I've tried Get sheets with one file (duly shared and published) and I always get:

status: 409, The specified file is a Google Spreadsheet, which cannot be downloaded.

I tried Get sheets, not Get rows which is probably the problem.

("Get rows" is not named intuitively indeed... and it is my fault I haven't read the documentation.)

Just tried Get rows and I get no errors. The OneDrive connector failed to create a file, but that's probably another story.

Anyway, I used a script in the document on GDrive to solve my case.

Thank you!
