What I am trying to achieve is to be able to create and update a single SharePoint list using my 2 MS FORMS.

When my first form is filled in and submitted it creates data on my SharePoint list, however when my second form is filled in and submitted it update actually override all existing value on my column.

Can somebody help me please help me with this?

Hey there.  So, can you post a pic of the flow?  And then let us know what it is you want it to do?  That might help.

Thanks,

Hi @edgonzales

I pretty much wanted to update my SharePoint list from my 2 MS Forms.

First MS from works just fine. It's just my 2nd MS form to update the data from my 1st MS form on my SharePoint list specifically updating the invoice number,1.jpg2.jpg

Thank you for responding to my query.

Ok, I think we're getting closer.  If I understand the process correctly, Form 1 is creating rows on a SP list.  Form 2 will update the respective row (specifically, the Invoice number?).

I see the Filter Array step, what is that filtering for?

If the update from Form 2 only happens once, then I was going to suggest looking only for rows that have a null value in the Invoice number field.   That might keep things from being overwritten.

We'll get there.  Keep at it and keep us posted.

Hi @edgonzales ,

Yes, you are correct. This is the part that I am stuck. I am sorta new to Flow so I would really appreciate if you can help me find a solution to this issue of mine.

As for the filter array please see the image below.

"If the update from Form 2 only happens once, then I was going to suggest looking only for rows that have a null value in the Invoice number field.   That might keep things from being overwritten.' - How do I do this?

Thank you!

@Anonymous

No worries at all - I have some questions, though.

  1. What information are you using from Form 2 to update your SP list?
  2. How are you 'connecting' Form 2 to Form 1?  (meaning: What information are you capturing on Form 2 that tells us which row on the SP list to look for?

I think we may re-write some stuff, but understanding the intent will be helpful in planning the best path.

Keep at it.
