How to Measure Area and Volume with Power Apps Mixed Reality? This video answers you how we can measure Area, Volume, and distance with the Mixed reality component – “View in MR”. During this video, we will use the “Measure in MR” component to measure Distance, Area, and Volume in Mixed Reality. “Measure in MR” component is a game-changer in the world of Mixed Reality. Here, we can create two-dimensional and three-dimensional polygons that can be used to confirm how a certain-sized object would fit within a space.
View in Measure component will create one button in the Power Apps. We can measure Area, Volume, and Distance using different Units like – Centimetres, Inches, Meters, and Feet. We will create a Power Apps Mixed Reality app which has all these configuration properties dynamically.
So, stay tuned with me throughout the session to check how we can calculate Area and Volume with Power Apps Mixed Reality Component?

Hello @Dhruvin I am writing to you because I tried to use this component. I even tried using the demo you created without success. I do not pass from the first screen, the one that advice you to pan your cellphone from left to right. I am using a Samsung A50 Cellphone. My question is If I am missing something, perhaps in the cellphone, perhaps in the application itself. Thanks in advance for any word of advice you can give me.
That's really strange!!
I believe your phone is AR supported!
Even you can simply try to add component on your screen and just try to measure two points. Does it works?
Hi!!! First of all thanks for your time. And the answer is no, as a matter of fact I started basic and given the fact that I didnt pass from the window I am uploading I used your demo thinking that perhaps there was a nut and bolt I was not aware. But unfortunately I came with the same result.
hello @Dhruvin : Your study work is amazing . I am stuck with one concept how to save measurment from Mixed Reality in DataVerse Table. How can we do so?
I am attached to Measurments to DisplayForm ,show error . How can this be solve?
with regards
