Penelope Coventry, M.Sc., initially specialised in Service Management, however for the last 20 years has built up expertise on the design, adoption, and usage of Office 365 and SharePoint on-premises technology–based solutions. Penny is passionate in getting the most out of technology her clients have already purchased, developing non-code/low-code and passing on knowledge to facilitator end-user adoption. She is a 13-time recipient of the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Office Apps & Services award, with certifications in SharePoint Sever 2016, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2010 and Office 365. She is an author and consultant based in the United Kingdom, with more than 30 years of industry experience.
Penny has authored or co-authored more than 10 SharePoint-related books, including Microsoft SharePoint 2016 Step by Step, Microsoft SharePoint 2013 Inside Out, and Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2010 Step by Step.
Penny has spoken at a number of conferences, including Ignite: The Tour, TechEd North America, SharePoint and Office 365 conferences, in addition to SharePoint Saturdays and user groups in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, and the United Kingdom. She is the user group leader for both the London & Nottingham PowerApps & Microsoft Flow user groups and is a keen supporter of the UK O365 & SharePoint user groups, UK community @uk_communities. Penny has worked with SharePoint since 2001, and when she’s not writing, she works as a consultant for a number of clients and as a trainer.
