Hello!

I haven't found a similar question - please help me!

I want to display only records from a selected country - I have my filter (for the View all), but I want for the users to be able to select a country on a homepage and based on the country they selected - show only records from selected country.

Ex.: I will select Spain in the homepage, it will show records from Spain.

Thanks in advance for your help, I am desperate! 😶

Difficult to understand why you would want to choose the additional country from the selection in your homepage. Don't they use the same column in the list? Which selection should be governing?

If you really want to do this you would have to put that into an 'Or' filter construction:

Filter ( ... , Country.Value = varCountry || ...).

Another possibility would be to allow multiple selections in your combo boxes. This way you could have Spain and Czechia filtered simultaneously.

Well the aim of the app is to approval some submitted records. So I would like to have it more "user friendly" and give users the ability to see records from multiple countries, not just one they selected on the homepage.

I tried to allow multiple selection in sharepoint (as the question itself) and also set the multipleselection to true, but neither of it is working.

Can you please show me where exactly I need to put the "or" in the filter in my code please?

I don't think multiple selections in SharePoint is what you want!

Looking to your formula I found several things:

In all your references to the different selectors you use IsBlank(...) as well as IsEmpty(...). However in the ones relating to the cbCountry you only use IsEmpty(...)!? Is this correct?
In the line for cbOrganization you also have IsEmpty(cbCountry.SelectedItems.Value)!? Is this correct?
If you separate multiple conditions in the filter formula separated by a comma, they are all treated as AND conjunctions. Thus you have to take away your first part Country.Value = varCountry and move that into the line for your country selection the following way:
...
IsBlank(cbCountry.SelectedItems.Value) || IsEmpty(cbCountry.SelectedItems.Value) || Country in cbCountry.SelectedItems.Value || Country.Value = varCountry,
...

Thank you, corrected it, but unfortunatelly the filter for "country" is still not working. Not even by itself - I have a "View all" button = its displaying all the records no matter the country, all the other filters are working, only the country is not.

Its not giving me any error - the gallery is just blank after selecting a country in the filter. ( one, two.. multiple) not working. 😕

Any more ideas?

Filter combobox: Choices('Monthly Donations 2022'. 'Country')

Other filter comboboxes ( that are working): Choices('Monthly Donations 2022'. 'Type of organization') (and so on..)

Really appreacite your help, trying to troubleshoot and go through the code one by one, but no luck so far what can cause this.

PS: I tried the multiple selection - when allowed in the combobox nothing change, not working, but when I change it in sharepoint as well it was giving me errors with all the labels inside gallery ( not just the "country column") (see attached)

Again: multiple selection in the SharePoint is not want you want!

Look to your code! In the lines referring to country you should have 'Country' in cbCountry.SelectedItems. This means: delete the .Value part as in all the other lines. I think, this will solve it.

BTW: In the 'true' branch of the If statement (where varCountry = "") you should take away the reference to var Country as it is empty anyway, so delete || Country.Value=varCountry. It doesn't harm to have it in but the code is definitely better without that part.
