Issue with Power BI Embedded Dashboard in Model-Driven App

Hello all, 

I'm trying to use a Power BI Dashboard in a model-driven app that I'm designing in a sandbox environment. For that, I'm including the dashboard in the solution where the app is located and, after that, I'm adding a dashboard page to the app using that PBI dash as source. It lets me save and seems that it's fine, but it is not working. When I access that page (whether in edit or play mode) I get an error message saying that "Something went wrong" and that it couldn't get the report. I tried this in other non-sandbox environments and it's working perfectly fine. Any workaround to this?

Hey there, did you have any luck with this?  We're having a similar issue with the dashboard not showing PowerBI content for some users.  All licensing/security looks to be identical but some users can't view the report content.  It's puzzling.

For those who still have this issue, with some debugging it seems there's a missing priv.  So to solve this (for us) I created a custom security role and assigned read privs to the following entries on the "Custom Entities" tab:

• Power BI Dataset
• Power BI Report
• powerbidatasetapdx
• powerbireportapdx

And we assigned that role to anyone who needed to access the Power BI dashboard.

Hey @Fooksie thanks heaps for posting this. I have spent 6 hours today troubleshooting as to why my users can't see a Power BI report I had embedded. Adding those privileges to their security role fixed the issue. Kudos to you!
