Hello,

I'm building a simple contact database of people inside our local branch. To bypass the 2000 lines limit I'm pulling users from O365Goups connector to collection. This connector gives only "basic" info about user (GivenName, ID, mail, phone and a few others). I was wondering if it was possible to somehow create another collection that would take the O365Groups collection and based on user ID would lookup other data from O365Users connector (ex. department, birthday etc.).

Hi @JanDras Try this code. The code can be on the Onvisible of screen or any button OnSelect event.

Clear(col_UserMoreDetails);
ClearCollect(
    col_AllUsers,
    Office365Groups.ListGroupMembers("ObjectID_OfGroup").value
);
ForAll(
    col_AllUsers As var,
    Collect(
        col_UserMoreDetails,
        Office365Users.SearchUser({searchTerm: var.mail})
    )
)

Collection col_UserMoreDetails give all attributes of user.

HI @JanDras ,Any specific reason of using O365Goups connector? If it is to get the more properties of user, then you can use Office365Users connector to get the more information on user itself:

Using this function Office365Users.SearchUserV2, you can collect more properties. Reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/office365users/

Hello,

I have tried to use the users connector but I ran into the limitations of 2000 rows limit as in our O365 enviroment there's tens of thousands of entities. --> Filtering the users to gallery based on domain and account enabled resulted in 0 search results until you started typing into the search box.

Therefore I pulled the users to collection (to get our local 150 users) from groups first and then pulled the collection into gallery.

I have not managed to get the SearchUser working to pull users into collection, maybe you could help me:

Try simulating it on 10.000 entries where the first entry that matches the filter is further than first 2000 lines.

Hi @JanDras , Apologies for late response. I dont have that much users in my test tenant, so it wont be possible for me to test the scenarios. However, after looking into few posts, I came to know that Office365Users connector has a 999 users limit. Hello, yes indeed that’s what I am saying. And that is why I have made the workaround with 365Groups connector. So back to the original question, is it possible to lookup data based on user ID and join the collection?
