Microsoft Dataverse and Collections

I have a Employee Data Gallery which is using collection as a datasource, the collection belongs to a Dataverse table , whenever i select any item from that gallery i am moving onto the edit form. The issue i am facing is that after Submitting the edit form the Employee Data Gallery is not getting updated as the collection hasnt been updated. Updation took place only at the datasource. 

I tried using UpdateIf() to update the Collection , but as my table is a Dataverse table , its giving issues. 

Any other way through which i can update the collection as soon as i update the datasource using SubmitForm()

While using patch , if i am updating a choice column with the data selected from a comboBox, How would the Patch function look like ?

How is the collection being populated? I personally haven't used a collection like this before, I have only used them to populate JSON packages for Power Automate. However, if it isn't too big you could potentially blank out the collection and repopulate it after the editing action, so that it is pulling the updated information.

@PrecisionBits  I tried ClearCollect in my edit form button. Issue is that i am using the same Function in the same way to make a collection. But still the collection is missing some columns.

But still the collection which i am getting after pressing edit button has columns with no data at all , only the Employee Name column is present. 

I think problem is with filter , am i using it correct ?

I am wondering why you are using a collection instead of just using the Dataverse table.  The collection functions are not delegable while Dataverse allows many delegatable functions including Search() and the "in" operator.  Is there some advantage to using a collection in your app?

Step1 : Employee Gallery , with employees getting selected ONCHECK of a checkbox and getting added in a collection 'SelectedItems'.

Step 2 : Getting all tasks from TaskTable for each employee. As i am using filter , it brings the whole row. 

ClearCollect(SelectedItems,Filter(TaskTables,'Assigned To'=ThisItem.'Employee Name (cr011_name)'));

Step3 : Task Gallery : Using SelectedItems collection as a datasource here to display tasks

Step 4 : Selecting a task from Task Gallery to Edit. I am editing but i need to update the collection now.

The issue i was facing with everything , including updating the Gallery is resolved now. Gallery is getting updated now after submitting the edit form . The way to create collection again helped. Thank you everyone
