Retrieve distinct values over a column from SQL Server data source

Hi All,

I am currently have an app with a combo box selection. this combo box is linked to a table in SQL Server. the table is relatively big overall, but I am only interested of one column [PRODUCT_NAME]. this is to be used as user selection with distinct values ~30k. I tried to retrieve distinct values of this column and sort it out, but I realized that Distinct is not delegated in PowerApps. based on this thread which has not been updated yet: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Ideas/Please-Extend-delegation-to-Distinct/idc-p/25804...

I was wondering if anyone has tried with another workarounds before?

Thanks a bunch!

Hi @PBIX123

A workaround is to create a SQL Server View that returns the distinct [Product_Name] values in your table. You can then add this data source to your app and set the items property of your combo box to your view.
