Stuck on getting your data - deep linking

I have finally managed to set up my deep linking in an app that I have created for registering NCRs and now the link sent to the person who's been assigned as responsible for correcting the NCR is directing to the right screen, but no data is being loaded. All I see is "Getting your data...".

Let me talk you through the process here:

1. A person creates an NCR and submits it by clicking on the "tick" symbol:

Saving the form sends out an e-mail with a link to the details of the submitted NCR (code below):

2. On opening the link a person should see a form with DisplayMode.View items, e.g.

4. My App OnStart is:

If(!IsBlank(Param("NCR")), Set(varNCR, LookUp(Niezgodności, Tytuł=(Param("NCR")))))

Where Niezgodności is a referenced SharePoint List and Tytuł is one of the columns in that list that is being completed in screen "Edycja niezgodności" shown in step 1. 

5. My App StartScreen is: 

If(!IsBlank(Param("NCR")), Niezgodność, 'Home screen')

6. The form in view mode is also accessible from a Gallery, where an arrow has the following code:

Set(varNCR, ThisItem); Navigate(Niezgodność)

What am I doing wrong? 

A side note: When navigating back to the Gallery view (the list of NCRs) from the failing screen that shows "Getting your data..." and opening the same record that was deep-linked, the record shows perfectly.

Hi,
If NCR parameter has the sharepoint list ID (in the app url), then you can go to your form and in the item property - 
LookUp(List, ID = Value(Param("NCR")))

That is just giving me an error:

Can you please try adding 3 closing parentheses “)” at the end instead of one.

if this doesn’t works then you can try removing value function

Just to confirm in the below like you are adding the variable for sharepoint id after  'NCR=' ?

What variable do you mean? I cannot use a specific ID, say 'NCR=1', because it will be a different item every time

If you are sending app link in the email and you want the user to directly get navigated to edit form screen in your app, then you will have to pass ID and screen name in the app url 

if you are using a gallery and you have a edit button in your gallery and you want user to get navigated to edit form when user clicks on edit icon or selected item - in this case you can use on select property and in that you can Set variable

in EditForm screen -

on Item property of Edit Form - varCurrRecord
