Power Virtual Agents for Web expired

Posted on by

Hi Everyone,

We are having O365 E3 corporate licenses associated with a corporate domain.

We developed a chatbot using Power Virtual Agents Web without knowing that it is a different environment with Power Virtual Agents for Teams and we are in a trial period of 60 days. The chatbot developed by PVA Web has been published to Teams users.

What happened if PVA Web license expires. Will the chatbot published in Teams stopped working?

Can we still update the chatbot using PVA Web?

Please kindly help to confirm. Thank you!

Since the bot was developed in the PVA web client it will expire when your trial license expires.  It doesn't matter that you've deployed it to Teams its still are regular PVA bot.  To use the Teams license you have to develop the bot in the PVA app inside Teams.  Unfortunately, I don't think there is currently any way to export it from the Web client and bring it into Teams.  You will need to rebuild it in Teams to use the Teams based license.
