When a new row added to Dataverse.... URGENT HELP!

Hi there,

I am trying to create a Flow so that when one Dataverse table (DV 1) has a new row Added or Modified, it Updates a Row on another Dataverse table (DV 2).

There are two consistent data points across the two Dataverse tables - these being Email Address and Full Name.

What I want it to do is:

1) When DV1 has a new row or the row is amended, take the email address from DV 1 and update the relevant record (so by email address or Full Name) on DV 2 with the other columns' information.

Here is a snippet of the Flow so far...  What do I put for Row ID?  This will be dynamic as each user has a unique row in the Dataverse.

Where am I going wrong?

Thanks

Hi @Kosenurm ,

When the initial row is updated you want to go and find all rows in the second table that match the updated record based on email address.  Your First DV should a List Rows on the 2nd table and then you should have the "Filter Rows" be an odata filter that is looking for records where the email address in the 2nd table matches the email address from the table updated.  Example (2nd_table_email eq updated_record_email)...

This will get the list of rows that match and you can do the Apply To Each and update the record with the rowId being the value of the current record in the For Each.

Hope this helps.  Please accept if answers your question or Like if helps in any way.

Thanks,

Drew

Hello @Kosenurm,

You are very close to it.

Before Second Data Verse(2nd DV) make a LIST Row and as like  as 1St DV then Use the ID from LIST ROWS (2nd DV) to Update it.
