PowerBIIntegration.Refresh() is now available for new PowerApps to refresh the Power BI dataset, but this doesn't work for existing PowerApps. Please add a 'refresh' option to refresh the methods of PowerBIIntegration.
PowerBIintegration funtion s not coming in powerapp reports.
Please explain to me why its not coming in my powerapps reports.
It's a functionality dat Microsoft only adds for new PowerApps. The functionallity cannot be added to existing PowerApps. That is a pity if you already have a bunch of exiting PowerApps that are connecting to Power BI data.
> Question: Is refresh Power BI only available in paid version not in pro ?
It's a standard feature. I tested it with an Office 365 Subscription for Power Apps and a Pro licence for Power BI.
Created a new APP in Sep 2019. Still PowerBIIntegration.Refresh(); is showing the error when I try to add after update the database table.

I can confirm the very same scenario - which lakVenkat mentioned earlier- happened to me this morning (October 6, 2019). I must also point out that - like lakVenkat - I didn't use any existing app, but created a brand new blank Form "all from scratch" which I could later integrate in Power BI report to grab user data inputs. Power BI Desktop content is connected to very same PowerApps Azure SQL Server defined database in DirectQuery mode. Adding PowerBIIntegration.Refresh(); in PowerApps code doesn't seem to be supported at this stage and displays same unknown or unsupported function error. (sigh...). Any updated information would be appreciated. Thank you.
@lakVenkat & @senpaicoder you'll have to create a new app from within PowerBI (screenshot below). Not from the PowerApp UI
It's so hard to believe that this still isn't possible two years later. 😞 The Power Platform is great.....right up until you need to interconnect everything. It's so frustrating to not be able to take advantage of the new Teams apps on the Dataverse because of this limitation.
Do you know when PowerBIIntegration.Refresh() is going to be available for Custom Sized apps and those apps we've already built that we simply want to connect to PowerBII seems ridiculous the fuction works for mobile sized apps created from PowerBI but we cant use it for other types of app.Whats the latest on this please. How many votes do these things need to get heard by Microsoft Support?
