I saw this topic- https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/How-to-format-date-value-in-email-body-t... and have a similar issue-
I'm using a text field in Forms, and employees are going to be inputting a list of things, no fixed length or amount, and I need them to get sent out in an email. The issue is that forms takes all linebreaks out and just concats every line together, and I'd like to figure out a flow that would seperate lines to be fed back into the email at the end.
We can make sure every piece in the list ends in a period if the flow needs something to check for
Hi @Anonymous,
I did a test on my side and found that the content of the submitted text did not save line break. MS Forms does not retain line break for even long answer text.
The content obtained on the Flow can only retain the original format, but the original content format from submission does not save the line break.
So I am afraid there is currently no suitable way to achieve your needs.
In the corresponding forums, someone has proposed an idea for the feature, you could vote it:
