ODBC connection to UniVerse database

We currently use an InfoPath form in combination with an excessive amount of email communication for a process that we aim to turn into a workflow in the future. We are upgrading to Office 365 and would like to utilize Flow for this process. The problem is that it would need to communicate with our accounting database, which is a UniVerse database, for field validation and population. I have not been able to locate any documentation for a UniVerse compatible connector for Flow. The closest I have seen has been a SQL Server connection that reads a UniVerse table and then creates a new table with the data on SQL Server. Has anyone created a direct connection to a UniVerse database in Flow?

Hi @CraigM-S,

Please check the doc on available connections for Microsoft Flow:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/

And yes, Microsoft Flow is now able connect to SQL Server connection. We could use flow to create a record in a tale. For other available connections, please check the above for more details.

If you need more info, please feel free post back.

Best regards,

Mabel Mao

My question was if anyone had successfully created a connection to a UniVerse database. I know that connections can be made to SQL Server, but I am trying to read directly from UniVerse. I have the ODBC driver and server already, but haven't found any useful documentation for creating a Flow connector with them. Additionally, we have not yet migrated to the Office 365 environment so I am now just trying to plan ahead to reduce lead time between the migration and the construction of the Flow I have in mind. Has this type of connector been made already and I'm just not seeing the documentation?
