Accessing files within Teams

Hello, I am creating a flow that sends out emails and within those emails, are documents that can only be accessed from my company's Microsoft Team group. I know that it is possible to get files from Sharepoint (Get File Content), but is there the equivalent action for getting the file content from Teams? Thanks for the help.

Re: Accessing files within Teams

Hi @salieri ,

The files posted to the channel and uploaded files will be stored in SharePoint Library.

If you want to get files uploaded to the channel message, you could check the following similar thread to get the files:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Planner-task-with-attachments-from-Channel-Messag...

If you want to get the files uploaded to Teams, you could get the file by file browse. Like:

38.PNG

Generally, files are stored in the General folder. If a file is added to the channel message, a folder with the same name as the channel name will be generated and stored in the SharePoint Library.

Hope that makes sense.

Re: Accessing files within Teams

hi @salieri  when you are using teams, you are using sharepoint, so for every file you upload in Teams you can located into Sharepoint. If you are using get file content you just need to locate the correct sharepoint site that is acording to your team, and get the content of the file you want.
