Flow approval condition doesn't seem to work.

Hi

I am trying to create a simple SharePoint "when a new file is created" approval flow.

But when trying to approve the file the metadata in SharePoint says "Rejected" and when I Reject  the file it still says "Rejected"

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Hey @Anonymous

Can you check that there is no space after Approve in the condition statement?

Hope this Helps!

In your condition change it to Outcome is equal to Approve.

I did try "outcome"

I still have the same result.  But if i look at the "run" i see "ActionBranchingConditionNotSatisfied. The execution of template action 'Set_content_approval_status:_Approved' skipped: the branching condition for this action is not satisfied." and I have no idea what that means... I am still a newb

Hey @Anonymous

Can you please share a screenshot of the flow? In the conditon part specially? Can you confirm that you are using the Outcome attribute and comparing it with the 'Approve' value here?

Hope this Helps!

@RobElliott  Thank You For your help 🙂

Thank You so much for this. I've been fighting with this darn approval for a month.

Any solution to this. I too have had issues with the condition. Both using Approve and outcome.

Hello,

I changed "Responses" to "Outcome" and it worked. Haven't had an issue since.
