Ability to lock items on the screen. Their size and position. Something what will avoid accidental movement of the items on the sceen when editing
(NOT ONLY IN FORMS)
Yes I'd love this, even the slightest move ment can knock your design out of place.
Its worse if you have valiables or formulas controlling item locations.
I keep having to go back over my stuff to check its still responsive!
As presented by many as a best practices, we set the position/size of controls in our screens using formulas. But then sometimes just be clicking the control, the editor seems to move it so slightly (to snap to a grid I supposes) and overwrite the formulas in the properties. This is often not noticed at that time, when it it is easy to "undo", but break the screen UI later.
The PowerApps studio should at least ask for a confirmation before overwritting a position or size property that is set by a formula instead of a constant value.
As stated, this should be a no-brainer must have. Clicking on a control to get to a property often moves it and then your formulas are out the window. Please, please, please implement this feature. I cannot tell you how many countless hours have been wasted because of this. Extreneley frustrating and counter-productive.
Is this feature being considered?
Totally agree with comments above. One miss click can easily destroy 1h of work trying to find one why a component is on wrong place. Plz consider this feature.
Cannot simply set another coordinate in the properties if there is a forumla.
CAN simply knock a control accidently from its place and delete the formula.
Contradictio in Powerappio.
Is this under review? We really need this for situations where a control's propery is set to a formula, but then a click or drag overwrites it to a hard value.
This would be extremely helpful - I'd like a function similiar to GUARD(value or formula) in Visio Shapesheets. When this function is used the object attribute can only be modified via the data field directly or via external references in the 'guarded' formula -

not indirectly via the UI
very much necessary
Any news on this yet?
