Error with a document creation flow from a list

Bonjour,

Hello,

I'm desperately trying to set up a power automaton flow that allows me to create a Word document (and then make it a PDF). For this I looked at different tutorials (example). I then experimented with a simple model and it worked. But now that I try to apply this same model to my project I get an error from the first step "create a file". Could you please help me to find the problem.

Below is the detail of the error (status code : 404).

@Ulysse4733  you can try using int(yourinput) expression to convert decimal number to integer which is without decimal places

yes I took care to delete the library files before restarting the test but it does not work.

I have to switch to the old interface to view the files. Below is a screenshot of what I see. after deletion, I have the same error with a new test

capture 0.jpg

I tried to create some by changing the creation directory without success 😭

I think I found the source of the error. It is the presence of the "_" sign in the file name field.

I deleted ... and now no more error on this step

On the other hand I have a new problem the values do not update in the fields... what a hassle.

I think the problem comes from the data format.
In the starting list, I have a search column which gives me the "street", "postal code", "city" columns.
In the document library where the document is created, I have created corresponding text columns

but it still doesn't work

@Ulysse4733 to update the column values of newly created file, you need to use Update File Properties action, refer this post https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/Flow-to-Create-File-and-Update-properties/td-p/51...

The flow runs correctly.

The columns of the library where the generated word document is located fill correctly. But the quickparts fields are not updating in the document. Could this be due to the type of column I used? I did not create site columns but simple columns in my list

Bonsoir,

Good evening,

I started my flow over from scratch and finally got it to work. The problem that remains is the formatting.

below the capture to explain.

I want to display without in a column a postal code without the decimals. column in text format for mail generation.

Could you help me on the expression to use?

@Ulysse4733 in the column settings you can specify the number of decimal places you need

No, I can't set the number of decimals because the value comes from a lookup column that I use in the stream to generate a document. I would like to be able to format the value when it is updated in the final library column

@Ulysse4733  so in final library is the column lookup or single line of text where you want to format the value?

In the final library, the column is a 1-line text format.
I want to format the value so that it appears in the document as a postal code, i.e. without the decimals
