I also tried creating a simple flow to check where is the problem coming from, it seems that the flow doesnt recognize my MS form.

Hi @KennethClark !

Can you provide the error log. Example where to find it.

NathanAlvares24_0-1708324329679.png

You can simply click the one which shows 'Failed'. And then remove screenshot of it. Error will be shown on the right side. Like shown below.

NathanAlvares24_1-1708324467583.png

And also just to let you know that I replicated your flows and it worked for me.

NathanAlvares24_2-1708324634587.png

So please do provide the screenshot of the error associating with your flow. With this I would greatly help. Do let me know.

Unfortunately we deleted the flow and uploaded our back up, but flow still not working..  Right now i cant test my flow manually 😞 stuck at waiting for response.

Hi @KennethClark !

So I guess you have exported your flow which was saved on your machine. And then used that backup to be imported to a new environment right? If I got this right, then this could be issues with connection references. Try re-connecting with the same account as before as that MS Forms is saved under that account. And re-connect with those connections you have used in your flow.

NathanAlvares24_1-1708325582807.png

Also is your MS Forms still existing under that account you are using currently in this flow? Or is that deleted as well? Like example given below.

NathanAlvares24_2-1708326051088.png

Do let me know.

For checking if your MS Forms still exists you can also check under the trigger "When a new response is submitted". It will show all existing forms under that account.

Yes, MS Form is still under my account. All my connection is still under my account too.

Hi @KennethClark !

I seem to finally figure out your issue. There is nothing wrong in your flow. It's just waiting for a response which means that you need to manually fill the MS Forms first in order for the flow to run. You can send the link to yourself of the MS Forms and try filling it. The trigger "When a new response is submitted" means that any user (anonymous or someone belonging to your organization) fills the form and a new response is submitted this flow will automatically trigger as this is an automated flow.

You said this:

So follow this: After clicking 'Test' in your flow.

NathanAlvares24_3-1708327249585.png

The next pic appears right? It just loads. And there is a message on top-left saying "To see it work now, submit a new response to the selected form." This means it wants a response from the MS Forms.

NathanAlvares24_4-1708327288249.png

So you could head over to the MS Forms page, by simply clicking that bar icon from the Power Automate web and select 'Forms' from there.

NathanAlvares24_5-1708327434071.png                         NathanAlvares24_6-1708327450742.png

Your MS Forms page will open. As seen in red, there will be your MS Forms. Simply click on it and make a new response to it.

NathanAlvares24_7-1708327571268.png

Select 'Preview' shown below.

NathanAlvares24_8-1708327662431.png

And you will be redirected to the next pic as given below. Enter the information into the fields. And hit 'Submit'.

NathanAlvares24_1-1708327194412.png

Result:

NathanAlvares24_9-1708327759316.png

And the flow will automatically trigger looking like below.

NathanAlvares24_10-1708327811066.png

With a message on top-left as "Your flow ran successfully."

I hope this helps.

So @KennethClark this would work for anybody having access to that link. Sharing the link you can do from the MS Forms itself. Just click 'Collect responses'. And this pop-up will appear. Copy that link and share it to anyone. And this link will work if you put option as "Anyone can respond"

So hence the flow will always be automatically triggered whenever anyone submits a new response to it.

I already tried submitting new response in MS form but my flow is still not triggering. Weirdly enough when my coworkers submit a resposne the trigger works... What could be the problem?

The best way to make sure you know what's going on in the News & Announcements, to blogs you follow, or forums and galleries you're interested in is to subscribe! These subscriptions ensure you receive automated messages about the most recent posts and replies. Even better, there are multiple ways you can subscribe to content and boards in the community! (Please note: if you have created an AAD (Azure Active Directory) account you won't be able to receive e-mail notifications.)   Subscribing to a Category  When you're looking at the entire category, select from the Options drop down and choose Subscribe.     You can then choose to Subscribe to all of the boards or select only the boards you want to receive notifications. When you're satisfied with your choices, click Save.     Subscribing to a Topic You can also subscribe to a single topic by clicking Subscribe from the Options drop down menu, while you are viewing the topic or in the General board overview, respectively.     Subscribing to a Label Find the labels at the bottom left of a post. From a particular post with a label, click on the label to filter by that label. This opens a window containing a list of posts with the label you have selected. Click Subscribe.     Note: You can only subscribe to a label at the board level. If you subscribe to a label named 'Copilot' at board #1, it will not automatically subscribe you to an identically named label at board #2. You will have to subscribe twice, once at each board.   Bookmarks Just like you can subscribe to topics and categories, you can also bookmark topics and boards from the same menus! Simply go to the Topic Options drop down menu to bookmark a topic or the Options drop down to bookmark a board. The difference between subscribing and bookmarking is that subscriptions provide you with notifications, whereas bookmarks provide you a static way of easily accessing your favorite boards from the My subscriptions area.   Managing & Viewing Your Subscriptions & Bookmarks To manage your subscriptions, click on your avatar and select My subscriptions from the drop-down menu.     From the Subscriptions & Notifications tab, you can manage your subscriptions, including your e-mail subscription options, your bookmarks, your notification settings, and your email notification format.     You can see a list of all your subscriptions and bookmarks and choose which ones to delete, either individually or in bulk, by checking multiple boxes.     A Note on Following Friends on Mobile Adding someone as a friend or selecting Follow in the mobile view does not allow you to subscribe to their activity feed. You will merely be able to see your friends’ biography, other personal information, or online status, and send messages more quickly by choosing who to send the message to from a list, as opposed to having to search by username.
