Help to create this scheduled flow

Hello All,

I have a weekly mission plane template in excel sheet, every week on monday I want to share it with our employees so that each one add his/her mission to the excelsheet template.

how to do that please, this is how i tried to do it but it failed in creating worksheet step

Is the error you're getting A resource with the same name or identifier already exists?

Looks like you're trying to add a new sheet to document, which should work - it will error if your document already contains the same sheet name.

Are you looking to add a new tab with the current excel file?

Maybe something like this is what you need where you grab todays date then append that to the worksheet name

formatDateTime (utcNow (), 'dd-MM-yy')

Thank you very much for the reply, What i want is to share a workbook and other can modify the exisiting sheet not adding another sheet

In that case you don't need the create worksheet action because that's trying to add a new sheet to your excel file.

You just need to attach the link the file in your email - I assume you don't want to send an actual copy to everyone?

If are sending individual copies out then you'd need to use the Get file content or Get file content using path actions from either One Drive or SharePoint in order to attach the file to your email

Thanks again, let me explain furthure to make it more clear

I want to create folder each month automcatically and the name will be based on the month 

for example we are now in october, the power automate will create a folder named oct using this fllow below:

aftre the folder has been created, i want to run another step to create a workbook each week based on a template and share the link to the users in order they add their input , at the end of the month i will have 4 workbook inside the oct folder, then in the next month this will repeat....

so now how to create a wrokboo based on a template each week and share the link of this file to the users?

to create the file based on your template 2 actions

Get file content - point it to your template file

Create file          - File Content will be the Body from the previous action

You'll need a compose with 

formatDateTime(utcNow(),'MMMM') 

to get the current month name, then add that to the folder path of your create file action.

You'll also need to think about the name of your file as you'll need 4 different names so possibly using the example previously with the formatDateTime (utcNow (), 'dd-MM-yy') to seperate each week.

Thank you very much for your support, yes it worked for me, now i have another chalange about the file name, i want to give the file name based on the week , for example for October weekly mission plan 9-13.xlsx,

weekly mission plan 16-20.xlsx

weekly mission plan , 23-27.xlsx,

so the file represent the days from Sunday to thurdsday how to mak this dinamic please?

OK,

3 compose fuctions:

Sunday   

formatDateTime(subtractFromTime(addDays(utcNow(), 0), dayOfWeek(utcNow()), 'Day'), 'dd')

Thursday

formatDateTime(subtractFromTime(addDays(utcNow(), 4), dayOfWeek(utcNow()), 'Day'), 'dd')

Month

formatDateTime (utcNow (), 'MMMM')

Then in your Create file action your file name will be :

Where each of the outputs is from Month, Sunday & Thursday
