Trouble using Power Automate: conflict between two flows

Hi guys,

I´m quite new to Power Automate and Power Apps and got stuck in an issue regarding two flows I´ve just build in Power Automate.

I´m building an app in PowerApps, using Sharepoint as database and Power Automate to create flows. It is an user request app for our Accounts Payable, in that users can insert invoices to be paid. Everytime an user creates a new request (that is a line in my sharepoint list), either the user and us receives an confirmation e-mail.

In this system, all requests are classified as: completed, on going or rejected. We have also a SLA measure that counts the time we spent on each demand (24 hours is our target). Everytime a task in completed or rejected, users receives e-mails too:

As you guys may realize by now, I need a column that shows the current day to calculate correctely our SLA. And, to solve this matter, I´ve created a flow that iterates (on a daily basis) my entire list and places current day on the proper column:

The point is: everytime this flow runs, all users receives again that e-mail (task completed or rejected). It happens because, when this flow iterates, it modifies my list and the first flow "thinks" all requests have been just completed or rejected.

Is there any way to solve this matter?

hi @Anonymous  is you want to know what is your current time you can use this fuction

formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd')

 and if you don't want to send again the email you can try adding a condition for example you can get you dates an compare it with a fuction that has you date with 24H less.

instead add days you can use  addHours

If you just want to have a column that show you current date , i dont think you need another FLOW but you can create a calculated column in your SharePoint list and use Today() as formula. 

This will automatically display current date and you can use it in your flow.

But if there is a need of second flow then @ChristianAbata  already provided you the approach to achieve it.

Thank you, I´ll try it!

But I´m afraid any flow that iterates my columns is goint to trigger the e-mails I mentioned.

I´ll create the Flow and as soon as I have the results I share here.

To get the today value reflected , item needs to be edited  and saved.

I have a question though you are implementing this get your SLA , are you showing SLA in Power Apps or in SharePoint.

I would suggest to calculate SLA in power apps itself as you get the current date and create date easily there.
