Adding Hours in Time Clock App

I am working on a Time Clock app for my employees. I am trying to figure out a way to add up the hours for each employee. Is there a simple way to do that? Right now, the data populates into a Data Table when the user and date range is selected. Is Data Table the right tool to use? Or would Gallery or something else work better? Thank you!

Yes, I have that formula in the Items section of the main Gallery, but nothing shows up. I am sure I am missing some small detail but not sure what to check next. Do I need to have any labels or text inside the Gallery in order to show data? Thank you!!

Yes, you should definitely have a label in the main gallery.  It should be set to Text(ThisItem._activityDateTime, LongDate)

Okay that test worked. The Label now shows the Long Date.

So the issue is with the dates.

And actually, I believe I am seeing the issue now.

In the sample mentioned back several pages ago - starting on page 1, there are TWO datepickers.  One for the start date and one from the End date.  You don't seem to have that in your formula.  Apologies that I did not notice this earlier (like back on page 2).

I don't think I emphasized this completely in the first page when I presented the formula as I called them plainly - DatePicker7 and DatePicker7_1

BUT, in the image highlighted below, the part in blue needs to be changed to your End datepicker.  The one in Yellow (which is fine) is the start date picker.

Sorry, I didn't catch that either. So now with that formula in place, the label is populating. Should anything be populating into the nested gallery also or do we still need to make some changes?

I also need to look back and see what all labels you were using in your Gallery example earlier in the thread.

I believe you still have the same formula for the Nested Gallery Items...it should be:

Okay I have also updated the Items formula for the Nested Gallery. I was looking back in the threads to see how you setup the labels in both Galleries but could not find anything. 

Let me know if I am correct; the Nested Gallery is the white box that shows the punches, and the Main Gallery shows the bolded Date, correcT?

Yes, the real key to this is back in Post #5.  

I did not label well, but in the nested gallery, the row label Text properties are : ThisItem.actType, ThisItem.startTime, ThisItem.endTime, ThisItem.duration, ThisItem.workTime
