Create app from OneNote To Do list

I'm trying out PowerApps for the first time, and thought it would be good to take one of my many To Do lists out of OneNote and convert it to a PowerApp.  I try to add a data source of OneNote but then I don't see how to pick which notebook and which page in that notebook to use for the data for it.  Any suggestions, or is that not possible?

Hi @rjo98,

Yes, that is not possible.

OneNote (for business) acts as a service, it is not like the other data source Like Excel, SQL Server Table, those resource are all table type data sources.

Fo OneNote, it is within the other type, include email, calendars, Twitter, and notifications, those data source can't be put directly within the Gallery, it would require a service call first to get the corresponding data.

For more details about data source, check:

Understand data sources in PowerApps

For example, if you would like to list all the notebooks, we will take use of the following method:

'OneNote(Business)'.GetNotebooks()

But currently there is no available documentation for OneNote connection in PowerApps, you may consider submit this as an idea, to suggest the team to publish one.

For the connector, check the following document:

OneNote(Business) (Preview)

So what would you recommend I use in PowerApps for a to-do list type app, that's basically a checklist and has areas to enter notes for each item in the checklist?  or is there nothing in PowerApps that would work for?
