Filtering Gallery with equation

Hi

Currently, I have a gallery that is filtered as the following.

SortByColumns(Filter(Table1,StartsWith(Supplier, Dropdown_Sup.Selected.Result),Value(MinQuantity-CQuantity)>0) ,"Description02", Ascending)

Currently, it excludes values below 0 with the (MinQuantity-CQuantity)>0) but I would like that to be done by a Textinput in the gallery  with the Default set to TextInput9_2 * OrderMultiplier

I can provide a screenshot if needed.

Thank you

Hi @Corissandageri

I assume OrderMultiplier is a numeric variable - try the below

SortByColumns(
   Filter(
      Table1,
      StartsWith(
         Supplier,
         Dropdown_Sup.Selected.Result
      ),
      > Value(TextInput2) * OrderMultiplier
   ),
   "Description02",
   Ascending
)

Sorry but it is still coming with an error

Sorry, my error

SortByColumns(
   Filter(
      Table1,
      StartsWith(
         Supplier,
         Dropdown_Sup.Selected.Result
      ),
      > Value(TextInput2.Text) * OrderMultiplier
   ),
   "Description02",
   Ascending
)

- forgot the .Text after TextInput2

Hi @Corissandageri ,

From your post are you confirming it is working as expected?

If so please Accept as Solution to close the item and enable others with similar issues to find it more readily

I should backed up the screenshot with some corresponding text. But to answer your question no. It is currently being filtered by (MinQuantity-CQuantity)>0) but I want it filtered by TextInputReorder

Hi again
Is it possible to do a long equation in one expression like the one below?
AddColumns"ReorderQty"(MinQuantity/OrderMultiplier) - (CQuantity/OrderMultiplier)* OrderMultiplier,0)
MinQuantity,OrderMultiplier,CQuantity are all columns in my Excel datasource.

Hi @Corissandageri ,

Sorry about the delay - I missed your reply in my Feed.

I have not tested this, but using your logic - insert your source in the second line.

AddColumns(
   [Data Source]/[Collection],
   "ReorderQty"
   (MinQuantity/OrderMultiplier) -
   (CQuantity/OrderMultiplier)*
   OrderMultiplier,0)
)

might do the job.
