Form Item Property Not From Gallery Control

Ive been trying to achieve this but cant see how, it should just work i feel..

I have a Gallery that lists equipment (equipment Table), whether a report is present (Lookup Report table)

Within the gallery i have a button that links to an edit form.

Since the edit form is to edit the report, and the gallery is for the equipment table i cannot use Gallery1.Selected as the item property as the data sources are different.

I have tried using: First(Filter(Report,EquipmentID=Thisitem.ID) (Join is on EquipmentID=ID) but it doesnt work, i also added a data table to the screen to check the items it returned everytime an item was selected but it loses the fields everytime.

I have also tried setting a global variable before navigate to the above formula and using that as the item property, same result.

Help me please, im sure this is so simple and im missing it..

Hi @Delid4ve,

Switch the formula to:

First(Filter(Report,EquipmentID=Gallery.Selected.ID)

I have individual Customer card (Photo 1) that I have attached another card to have a Date Timeline(Photo 2). I need to get the edit form(Photo 3) for the Date Timeline card to go back to the Timeline card after selecting the Submit Button. I believe it has something to do with the Item Property under the Data section.
