Re: PowerApp unable to connect to excel file

Hi Fanny,

To create an App from Excel Data, an Excel file with data should be formatted as a table, and then upload the file to a cloud-storage such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or OneDrive for Business.

These two articles could be a reference for you:
1.Create an App from Excel Data
https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/tutorials/get-started-create-from-data/
2.Create an Excel table in a worksheet
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-an-Excel-table-in-a-worksheet-E81AA349-B006-4F8A-980...

Please format your Excel file as a table and try again for this issue.

Best regards,
Mabel Mao

Re: PowerApp unable to connect to excel file

Hi Fanny,

I have seen a similar thread about “If Excel has a formula, data not showing”. In this thread, Staff CarlosFigueira said that tables in Excel with formulas are currently not supported.

The thread link is:
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/PowerApps-Forum/If-Excel-has-a-formula-data-not-showing/m-p/1539...

I would also suggest you submit an idea at “PowerApps Ideas”.

The link of the “PowerApps Ideas” is:

Best regards,

Re: PowerApp unable to connect to excel file

I have the same problem. I tried taking out all of the formulae but it's still not working.

I've even taken out the formating for percentages and dates, but still no dice.
