Radio Button - visible values

Hello,

I am building a educational use PowerApp and I am currently stuck on trying to figure out how to finish a quiz I started using radio buttons. I am so close but can't figure out this last bit.

So I created a quiz using Radio Buttons. I have four answers which I have outlined in a group called 'RadioGroupCanvas1':

Items = ["radio button 1 answer", "radio button 2 answer", "radio button 3 answer", "all of the above"]

I then created Labels (x4), for Radio Button 1-3 - I used:

Visible = IF(Radiogroupcanvas1.selected.value = "radio button 1 answer",true,false)

Repeated for answers 2 & 3.

The label will then become visible if they answer one of those with the response 'Try Again'

Then I created label for the correct answer with basically the same:

Visible = IF(Radiogroupcanvas1.selected.value = "all of the above",true,false)

then the label becomes visible and says 'Correct Answer!'

The trouble that I am having is that now when you pull up the quiz, it defaulted to the first radio button and shows 'Try Again' when I don't want it to show that (you know, given its a quiz and all).

What I would like to do, is have it so that there is no default button chosen, and all of my labels are invisible until they have chosen an answer from the radio button options, then a label would appear that says if the answer is correct or to try again.

How do I set it so there is no default button chosen?

OR

Make it so that the label comes up AFTER they have actually tried to input an answer?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi @AutumnN

I started reading this and stopped, please 😞 please for the love of my Eyeballs, don't write books. Use a walk through of your App, with screens and annotate them clearly

You will get help so much faster.

If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

Cheers

Thank You
