Re: concatenate a textbox value from other textboxes based on the value in 2 textboxes

Mike,

Help me start from a real basic perspective.

Can you guide me through just trying to update the DataCardValue16 text  from a button ?  with no big formulas involved.

For example: i have some text in a label   "Label3"  how do i get the DataCardValue16 to change to this text.

maybe just from a button ?

Thanks

@DAVIDPOWELL

The expression below simply goes into the Label3.Text. Whenever any value changes on any of the TextInut, the Text in Label3 will update.

Thanks

Re: concatenate a textbox value from other textboxes based on the value in 2 textboxes

I ended up putting a Button on the form to initiate the Variable "v_Notes"

Set(v_Notes, If(DataCardValue17.Text = "Yes" || DataCardValue19.Text = "Yes", DataCardValue16.Text & ";" & DataCardKey17.Text & ";" & DataCardKey19.Text,DataCardValue16.Text ))

Then I  made Label3 = v_Notes

Then I set the DataCardValue16.default to  Label3.Text

Pressed the Button and walahhh it worked.

However, as you probably guessed, my users will not want to press buttons to get it to work.

So even though i got it to do what I need, i'm still at square one. (heavy sigh).

But wanted to let you know  and thanks again for the replies.
