format currency field

In my form I have some currency fields, and I would like to format them.

The fields are in DataCard so my entry is Default, I would like to know if there is any possibility to perform this formatting?

Hi  @Lourenacdm ,

Please try this:

Text(Value(Parent.Default,"en"), "[$-en-US]$#,###.00", "en-US")

but my field is not as text as the video, it is like editing. Is it still possible?

Yes. Try any of these because you have not stated exactly the format you want;

Text(Parent.Default,"[$-en-US]$#,###.00")

Text(Parent.Default,"[$-en-US]$#.00")

Text(Parent.Default,"[$-en-US]#,###.00")

Text(Parent.Default,"[$-en-US]#.00")

Include the formula in the Default, but there was no change, I saved it to see if it would change in the output and it didn't either.

Do I have to include something in the Update or the save icon as well?

Take a screenshot of your formula

Hi @Lourenacdm ,

Have your issue been resolved? If not, happy to help further.

What is the Default language of your PowerApps studio/Browser?

It seems that Partent.Default code returns a Text. but what you want to format must be a Number, please use Value() function to convert to Number first and use Text function to format it.

Text(Value(Parent.Default,"en"), "[$-en-US]$#,###.00", "[$-en-US]")

not yet, the language is english.

I entered the informed formula, but this error is appearing:
