moving Milestone to next milestone based on milestone status

Hi all, 

I need your help to move Milestone to next milestone based on milestone status. 

for that I've used blank horizontal gallery. 

Milestones for all 4 Areas are same. however Project A,B,C & D will move forward only upon completion of the milestone. 

But each project will have its own set of same milestones to reach. 

Project A		Project B	Project C Project D
Milestone 1	Milestone 2	Milestone 3	Milestone 4	Milestone 5

in above scenario Projects moved forward based on completion of the milestone. 

there are many status of the milestone i.e. "In-progress", "Blocked", "Complete", "Not Yet started"

please help with formula that can help move project forward once it is in Complete status.

Since each person has their own preferred way, the implementation methods are expected to vary.

My approach is to use a simple data structure as follows.

The below code is placed within a button 'Populate' in this example. 

Data will be retrieved from your repository and collected to a collection in real situations. The list of milestones(ColMilestoneList) or status(ColPrjoectMilestonesStatus) does not have to be collected if the data structure is simple.  

Concept for setting status.  4 check boxes for status were used to help understanding.

Milestone is ready to  go next when its status is complete. (Other features like current status is reflected to check box have not been added yet).  Properties of Visible 

Concept: Milestone and its status are updated when the checkbox is clicked.

(If you define the first status next to the previous status 'complete' in advance, a user does not have to select a status among 4 check boxes.)

The above gallery that shows status by each project is rendered again. 

Updating the status and milestone of the selected project

(There is a step required to save the updated status value in the Gallery when a user changes a status, but that step has not been implemented)

@Kirkby  this idea is good. But in our condition., Milestone should be automatically moved to next milestone previous milestone is completed.
