Powerapps module for sharepoint template.

Hi all,

i've a question: i want to build a project management site template with module configured by powerapps form. When i save my site as template and use for build new project sites then my list refers always to powerapps module of the first built site.

It's correct? Exist a workaround for managing new forms with Sharepoint templates or it cannot be use ?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @samross - Sadly, we dont have this functionality right now. We cannot support migrating custom forms from one site to another or export/import via templates.

The experience you are observing right now seems like a bug. Including @KeremY to help us get it fixed on SharePoint.

Hi! If you're still looking for forms solution allowing you to include custom forms in a site template or at least provision them programatically, I can recommend you to take a look at Plumsail Forms. This tool allows you to design fully responsive forms for modern UI and deploy them programatically.

"then my list refers always to powerapps module of the first built site."

Do you mean PowerApps custom form for SharePoint list will not work correctly with the SharePoint site template?

Besides, have you tried a list template?

I will make some tests from my side, I suspect to save the PowerApps form together with the site template may not work currently.

Hope staff @sarafankit could share some information.

Michael

Re: Powerapps module for sharepoint template.

Thanks! I think that works properly into actual limitations. When i create module referred to a specific list's site works properly but when i save site as template module refer the first list object as a static link.

This situation is the same that you have mentioned. I think that may be useful for substituting Infopath with Powerapps a template managing also for powerapps module.

It's right?

Re: Powerapps module for sharepoint template.

Hi,

Is there any update to this issue. We have a number of Infopath forms included in our Sharepoint Templates. We want to convert these to PowerApps but this limitation means we can't.

Thanks
