Data Integration Project - Unable to Populate SOME Lookups

Hi Everyone,

We have a fairly simple use case where we are bringing some flat/simple external data into CDS using a data integration project.

For each of the entities we are integrating we have created fields and keys to map the external system id. We have done the same for mapping standard/OOB entities (contact, lead) as well.

When attempting to map data we can successfully populate any lookups we have created referencing custom entities; but the lookups for standard/OOB entities are missing.

For example:

Entity - cns_ContactRegistration

cns_ContactId.new_CampusId (MISSING)

cns_RegistrationStatusId.new_CampusId  (VISIBLE)

Capture.PNG

Thanks in advance!

Re: Data Integration Project - Unable to Populate SOME Lookups

Hi @jmurphy135 ,

I've made a similar test and found the similar problem like your description.

I've searched some information and found that data mapping is not currently supported for lookup fields.

Here's a doc about it for your reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/ai/customer-service-insights/map-data

I suggest you express your views on PowerApps Ideas Forum. Your precious advice will be very helpful for our work.
