PowerApps SharePoint Workflow?

Hi,

I'm not experienced with PowerApps, but I was able to build a form from a SharePoint list I created.  Now the users I built it for would like a little automation.  For my example this is what they're looking for.

Yes/No question on the form.  If it = Yes, then a choice field in SharePoint is auto filled

So if the SharePoint field was a drop down with names...Mike, Tom, Jim.  If the answer on the form was submitted as Yes, then Mike would get assigned.  If the answer was no, then it would go to the next condition.

The next condition is based off of a drop down on the form.  For example the choices are A,B,C if A, then Mike, if B, then Tom..etc.

Is this possible?  Sorry if this is confusing, just trying to wrap my head around this.

Re: PowerApps SharePoint Workflow?

Hi @MikeNJ00 ,

My unserstanding about what you are trying to achieve is that if YesOrNo=Yes, Choice1 column would select Mike, if No and Choice2=A, select Mike,  if No and Choice2=B, select Tom.

If my understanding is correct, please try to unlock the data card of Choice1 field and set below formula in the Default property of Choice1 data card:

If(DataCardValue12.Value=true||DataCardValue13.Selected.Value="A",First(Choices(List.Choice1)),
DataCardValue12.Value=false&&DataCardValue13.Selected.Value="B",Last(FirstN(Choices(List.Choice1),2)),
DataCardValue12.Value=false&&DataCardValue13.Selected.Value="C",Last(Choices(List.Choice1)))

DataCardValue12 is the Toggle control name of Yes or No column.

DataCardValue13 is the Dropdown control name of Choice2 column.

Choice1 is the column name of Mike/Tom/Jim.
