Converter string to array

I have trigger

But apply to each add to row table, not progress

in detail add a row table it, I get original array

Is there something wrong with this step when converting from string to array??

I did not find any results from the flow that I made.

So, it's not adding a row to the table? Is the flow run showing an error on that step? If so, please share a screenshot of that error. Also, if you can share a screenshot of the Compose action as it's configured, that may help. Finally, in the "Add a row to a table" action, what expression are you using for each of those properties...and I don't think you need the double quotes around them.

Yes, does not add rows to the table.
The existing flow does not show an error but the results obtained are like nothing

I may not be understanding your goal with this flow by the screenshots you provided. 

From what I can see, have you tried setting "Original" variable to Array insted of String? That should give you the results you are looking for.

In the original post, the "Original" variable was an array. If you're using an Apply to each, that is the type of input you need. I would go back to that approach (change the variable from string back to array) and in the "add rows to table", leave out the double quotes (") that you originally had around the elements.

So what I want is, when an email is received using an attachment in an excel format file (employee input.xlsx) then, from the employee input it can be changed to employee output.xlsx and sent back to the sender (at the beginning)

Employee input.xlsx

Employee output.xlsx

So, my issue is:

-Get Content email with subject “process employee structure”

-Get Attachment file “employee_input.xlsx”

-Process recursive input data employee for write excel structure hierarchy like sample file “employee_output.xlsx”

-Reply Email with attach Output result like “employee_output.xlsx”

-Flag email process already completed

that's pretty much what i ordered..

please guide me

Hey @krfajar,

In that case, from what I can see in the thread, the only part you are missing is the 3rd one, where you add the "Superior Name" to the excel file. Correct me if I'm wrong.

For that, you have multiple solutions. One of them (and the easiest from my point of view) is that if you can, add the "Superior Name" Column in the Input File by default. This would simplify the process inside the flow. 

Example:

We start with this Excel Input file. 

In flow, you first want to List al rows:

Then, you check if each row has a Superior_SN Value:

If it does, Lookup that Superior_SN in the same file: 

Lastly, you update the "Superior Name" Column of the row with the LookUp Result:

So the output would be this:

Now you could email that table to the person you need. 

This method will save you the "pain" that working with arrays and objects is in Power Automate. 

NOTE: If you can't add the column by default in the Input file, you could just duplicate the file or add a new table in another Page and adding a new column with the "Add a new key column". Then, you can follow the steps above.
