Hi @Anonymous

You're missing the Bearer token in the headers.

Name Description
Authorization Bearer {token}. Required.
Content-type application/json. Required.

Can you please check if and let me know if you have any questions?

Cheers
Manuel

Hi @Anonymous

Can you show me the Flow and how you're building the header. There's something wrong with the call.

Cheers
Manuel

Thank You

Hi @Anonymous

But there's no values. Where are you getting your Bearer token and are you inserting it in the call? also the Content Type should be "application/json"

Manuel

Hi,

I have the same issue. I use the Bearer Token and get the following error:

MasterAD_0-1670940423786.png

Using app registration with HTTP of Power Automate.

I use Graph Explorer and it work but not with Power Automate ☹️.

What am I missing?

From where can I get the Password method id?

@MasterAD Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same issue. I'm able to successfully reset users' passwords using Graph Explorer, but doesn't work in HTTP connector with same syntax.

OK...Been messing around with this for about a week now and finally figured it out. Depending on the assigned role(s) of the account you're trying to reset you need one or more of the following roles assigned to the service principal (app registration)

  • Global administrator: Can reset admin and/or non-admin passwords.
  • Privileged authentication administrator: Can reset admin and/or non-admin passwords.
  • User administrator: Can reset passwords for limited admins.
  • Password administrator: Can reset passwords for non-administrators and Password Administrators.
  • Helpdesk administrator: Can reset passwords for non-administrators and Helpdesk Administrators.

NOTE: What's also super important is you need a bearer token in the Authorization header of the action that is resetting the user's password. I created an HTTP action prior to the PW reset action to generate a bearer token which I used to successfully complete the PW reset. Good luck!

Hi, are you able to share a screenshot of your flow?

P.s. for those wondering, the bearer token is the access token from the app registration

MS Learn "Access tokens are a kind of security token that the Microsoft identity platform provides. They're short-lived but with variable default lifetimes.

To call Microsoft Graph, the app makes an authorization request by attaching the access token as a Bearer token to the Authorization header in an HTTP request. "

@RADical I am having the same issue as well , but mine is a little bit more complicated. I have Password Administrator role and Helpdesk Administrator and I still am running into the same issue (403 Error) I also used Graph Explorer and it worked there as well. In my flow, I am also using a bearer token too.  I have all the correct permissions as well, according to this documentation https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/permissions-reference . I would really appreciate your help. Can you post a picture of your flow as well?

I want to create the similar flow. Did you set up the manual authentication inside the bot? If so what kind url did you use to as redirect url?
