Insert Number Field in Sharepoint list

Hi, I am trying to insert a new record into a SharePoint list. I can do all the text fields as values from my source (json request) are available. However the number fields don't have anything, only the dynamic content/expressions dialogue. I have defined my json with an int data type but it still doesn't show. Any suggestions?

Hi @davidbrown100,

Could you share the detailed configuration of your Flow?

I think the method provided by Scott is to solve your problem, the Number field will automatically recognize the type of Dynamic content output by other actions.

  • You could also consider using Compose action to put this value in, then fill Compose in Number field.
  • Also if you know how to use expressions to represent Dynamic content, you could simply fill the Expression in the Number field.

Like:

Generally speaking, we can choose Dynamic content directly, but if we know how it is represented, we can use Expression directly and work consistently.

Please take a try.

An easy way around thes is to create and set a variable for the columns with which you are having and issue.  Intialize them to the value you want - you'll likely be able to select what you need ffrom Dynamic Prropeties.,  Then reference the variables in you SharePoint action.  There are other ways as well to get this done.
