Word Online (Business) (Preview) Convert Word Document to PDF

I am trying this connector using sharepoint library . It is a simple .docx file with 2 lines of text.  I get this error.

The rest of the flow which reads the file and sends email notification works fine, throws an error at this Action.

BadRequest.

Try this as it has worked for me.

If you need to change the trigger, by all means do. A simple press of a button has worked for testing purposes.

I have tried both with and without paramaters and from SharePoint and OneDrive.

Reported it to MSFlow Twitter account also.

No it did not - i basically had it configured the same as mentioned.

This errors with the same error as the OP.

In my scenario FILE would be set as Identifier in the production flow - which is sourced from the trigger i.e. document created.

As you will see, I just creted this and I have an accurate PDF that opens with same data as PDF.

Maybe you could quickly recreate from scratch as a test?

Hi @Gristy

You haven't posted an image of your Flow and I can see you have just one connection, that indicates you are only using "Convert Word Document to PDF Connector" after triggering with a button.

You will notice that connector doesn't offer to save the file anywhere hence why I have used in addition, "Create File" to either SharePoint or OneDrive maybe and this done the trick for me. No Output with it, granted I got no error at that stage though.

If you recreate like mine exactly it will work I am sure. Can you try it?

I have done so - same error unfrotuantely.

Good that is working on your tenant, hopefully they fix it for other tenants soon.

I do not think this is a problem with how our flows are configured but rather something bugged in the flow platform here.

Are you clicking test to run this or are you clicking the button on your phone in the flow app?

I am working through this just now and I am getting errors too where they shouldn't be and it won't load my dynamic fields in the "Populate a Microsoft Word template".

So, not the same issue as you are experiencng, but there are only 2 Word connectors and 1 isn't working for you both, and 1 not working for me. The connectors are still in preview though really. So, just thought I'd let you know that.

I will wait till tomorrow and if my Flow still won't work I'll be posting my issue as a bug in the bug threads.

I am having the same issue as well.

I was looking in the documentation to see if there was anything, but haven't been able to get it to work either. I get the same error. I also tried different Word docx types, and even looked to see if I needed to add a schema to the document, but no dice.

I linked a video earlier where John L mentions it is still buggy in SharePoint and easier to get to work in OneDrive. I have it working on one tenant and not in another using SharePoint. It’s clearly a bug. Please post in bug threads. Details posted earlier in thread.

@AlanPs1,  I tried exact steps from your post and still ended up with same error.   I posted it as a bug in the link you posted in one your reply.  Thank you for your prompt response and help.  Hope it gets resolved soon as we need it working with Sharepoint .
