How send entity form link to the user via email?

Hello everyone,

I want to send a entity form link to the portal user through email. I can provide the link in email body in power automate flow and send a mail. After user fill the and submitted the form, i am updating particular entity based on the details in the form. But i want the user to access the form only for certain amount of time. After some time user should not be able to open the form.

How can i achieve this?

I've had to handle a similar issue in the past. The best way to do it is to conditionally have the entity form show. In other words, you'll need a field on the record indicating when your "start" time (or to keep it simple, the end time) is. Then you'll use Liquid (Liquid Date filters: Available Liquid filters - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs) to calculate if it's still within the valid window. If so, you would show the entity form. E.g.

{% assign validDate = thisRecord.new_endDate %}
{% if validDate < now %}
  {% entityform id:page.adx_entityform.id %}
{% else %}
  <p>Sorry, you no longer have access to this form. Please contact your admin.</p>

I have tried this, but I am not seeing any changes in the form.

I have checked the 'now' value. But I am not sure how can i check my date field. Any idea on this?

Unfortunately, debugging in the Portal can be a lot of brute force work. I typically would do the following to make sure my logic is working as expected. You may need to play around with Date filters (the link I shared in my first response) to see if maybe that can help with the comparison, as I don't have access to any of the source code I utilized before to see exactly how I implemented it. I would focus on adding as many of these kinds of debugging steps as possible to see which comparisons get you the expected result. It can be quicker to do this in the Page Copy section directly on the Portal page, assuming you're logging in as an Admin with the Grant Change permissions enabled.
