Perform a series of actions for each item in a column

Hello,

I don't know if this is possible but I thought I would ask. I have a dynamic number of links on a page in a single row, that looks like this. 

Each of those RA-xxx numbers are hyperlinks. I need automate to be able able to recognize each of those, and click on them, which opens a new window with another URL : 

Which then opens up another page I need to do a Control +S on to save, and then I'm hoping to be able to email those files and then delete them.

Is this possible? My initial thought was to have it extract the URLs in the column, and then do a "For Each" loop and have it open the url in the browser, do the clicks and saves and then close them.  But, the extracted URL is not the same as the URL that goes to the next window, it just takes me back, so I would need to do the physical clicks, but it would need to go down the column and know how many there are.

You know what, the tab is working fine. It's the part where I'm having it do a "Click link on Web page", and I have it clicking on a DIV. I guess that doesn't work because the tabbing still starts at the top, and that was the problem. I am trying to Click UI element instead but it won' show the UI element in the drop down, I keep trying. 🙂

I got it now. I had to do a focus text field first, then click on it, and now it's working great, huzzahs

Now I just have to figure out how to get the whole process to Loop for all 22 of my branches (my test has just been a hardcoded branch), and I should be good to go, knock on wood eh.

I did something similar where I downloaded 100 bank statements in a similar format. I tabbed to the links and Send Keys {Enter} to click the link which would open a pop up to a new windows where I could then click the download button. 

I wonder if you could do the same. So, typically, one link to another would be the same, so let’s say it’s {Tab:5}

my flow looked like this:

Loop 1 to 9999 increment of 1

If %Loopindex% = 1

    Send Keys {Tab:27} ‘ however many tabs it takes to get to the first link

Else (if)

    Send Keys {Tab:5} ‘however many tabs it takes to get from one link to another

End (IF)

Send Keys {Enter} ‘to open the link

’Proceed with steps for saving

End Loop

On mine the document was a popup window, so I never lost where my tabs were, if yours does and you always have to start the tabs over, then under that Else If, put Set Variable %TabNumber% = %LoopIndex * 5 + 27% so that it adds up all the tabs you need to get to the next one. 

To get the loop to stop, There was the download button on the popup window, and after send keys enter for the link, I had “wait for element:download button.” And I had it to timeout after 30 seconds or something outrageous, so if it didn’t see that download button, it knew it was done and closed all the windows.

Actually seems like I got it good to go. I tested a loop with 2 branches, 1 with data and 1 without because I wanted to try sending a different email.  For some reason the filter button did not work on the 2nd loop, I assumed because it was Recorded. I manually added the UI element and it worked. 

My question is, if I want to start with a List of items, is this the only way to do it?

This seems like a weird way to do it, and like I said I have 22 branches. it's odd for the Flow to have to build this list everytime? I know I can add an input variable, if I add Commas for "Default Value" like "F425, F426, F427" etc would that function like a list or do I have to pre-build it this way?  Thanks for all the help I learned a lot, some of it accidentally and the next one will go easier 🙂

Set a variable. If you already know what values it is going to contain then separate it with a comma like you said.

If not hard coded you can also dynamically generate the content of this variable separating by comma.

So now that you have this variable content as - F1,F2,F3....

Use "Split text" action and use comma as the delimiter to split.

The resulting output variable will give you a List.
