Disable Apply To Each

Hello! I've only recently started using Flows, so far to complete very simple tasks and I'm running into an issue. I've selected a basic "template" which is to send an email when a new Sharepoint List item is created. In the email I want to capture the information entered on the List.

Everything works well except for list options which are multi-select. The flow by default creates an "apply to each" step for these. Rather I would like each of the multiple items selected to be listed in a single email. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Re: Disable Apply To Each

@RobertEmminger:

Here is one technique that you can use.

In the screen shots below of a Flow that I successfully ran, I first loop through each of the values in the multi-select column (an option column in my case) and append them to a variable.  Then, I simply reference the variable in the email.

Re: Disable Apply To Each

Hi @RobertEmminger,

As @ScottShearer said, you could add a variable to save all the values in the multi-select column.

You could refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

Re: Disable Apply To Each

Thanks so much @ScottShearer & @v-yuazh-msft this did indeed work. If I wanted to add a spacebetween the different items in the list, should I add another "append to string variable"? This is the output I'm getting in the email.

Bay CityBirminghamEastonFlint

it should be something like:

Bay City, Birmingham, Easton, Flint

Thanks again!

Re: Disable Apply To Each

@RobertEmminger Did they answer your query because i have the same issue. Need to load several recipients and values on the email notifications. Encountered that "apply to each" still adding automatically despite of creating initialize variable.

Hi @ScottShearer - hope you can help.

Thanks
