Erasing only the files of yestherday, while the ones of today are still there

Hi everyone,

I'm currently trying to do a flow, but I really don't know how to do it.

i want to delete all the file in one folder but only the ones of yestherday even if the one of today are there.

we start the day here at 16h (montreal) and we start receiving the files at that hour.

so the flow will erase all the file in the folder but only for the day of yestherday.

this is the situation :
we will start receiving file in that folder today a 16h and tomorrow at 16 hour we will still receive the files at that hour, but i only want to delete the ones of yesterday even if the file for the next day are there. is it possible?

like even if the file of the next day are there i only want to erase the ones from yesterday before 16h.

the flow will run after around 17h so it will have the file from yesterday and today

if you need more information please ask me, I really need this flow and I do not know how to do it

The only thing i know for the moment is how to delete all the file in a sharepoint folder

i'm sorry, I forgot to tell you that all the files are in a sharepoint librairy in a folder

exemple

Librairy name : Reporting

folder name in library : Flow

this is what i think it should be but the only thing im missing si the condition

1- i did a recurence.

times zone : (UTC -05:00) Eastern time(US & canada)

the times running hour should be 17

the time running in minutes is 30

2- After i've put get files ( Propreties only )

like i said the library names is Reporting

3- After i've put a Filter Array

from is the value of Get Files  ( Propreties only )

then i've pu the line code : @equals(item()?['{Path}'], 'Reporting/Flow/')

Note : Reporting is the library name and the Flow is the folder of the folder where all the files of today and tomorrow will be

4- After that i that i've put Apply to each

the select an output is : Body from the filter array

5- i've put and condition but its blank.

In this part i want to put if the files that are there is : If (The files is older than the times of 16h today)

If its true, then the files has to be delete

if false, nothing will happend

so if the file is older than today at 16h the file is delete.

so all the files od yestherday and today before 16h are delete and the ones that are 16h and more are still in the file.

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

I have made a test on my side, please take a try to create a flow as below:

The expression in the condition 2 as below:

@less(formatDateTime(items('Apply_to_each')?['Created'], 'yyyy-MM-ddT00:00:00Z'), addHours(startOfDay(utcNow()), 16))

The flow would run successfully to delete the file which is older than the times of 16:00 today as screenshot below:

i'm not able to put a picture of the flow that i did in this mesage....

im trying to insert a picture of the flow that i did but i can't insert the picture....

can you tell how to insert the pictures please?

i've try what you've put, delete even the one that are newer that the hours...

remark the time zone here is (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

and question on the line of the second condition :

 the 16 at the end of the line, is the hours that it say's if the file is older that 16:00 of today the file will be delete?

does my time zone change something?

becaus i'm trying to change the time for let's say 11 am or 11:30 .

the flow work on deleting everything, but it does delete event the file that are more that the time.

I've put the code like this, tell me if its correct

i want to understand this line of code....
