Error in expression

Hi,

What goes wrong with the expression below?

if(equals(item()?['Ruleset_3'],'1'),'This text',add(add(int(item()?['Year']))),'')

@frixel Um no! I meant that when you run the flow, you get the flow run history and you can see what each action has. So Can you run this flow and from the run history share screenshots of the variables (set variable actions) and the conditions?

Thanks,

This is what you mean?

Hi @frixel , Yes. In the second screenshot, can you expand the set variable so that I can see the error?

Thanks,

@frixel Can you share the formula that you are using in the set variable action? In the Initialise Variable Actions, what is the value that you have provided? If there is no value over there, please add a '0' (without the quotes). This flow is failing because the add function is not getting the values properly.

Hope this Helps!

Hi @yashag2255

You mean this part with this formule?

Hi @frixel

Were you able to resolve? Can you please share any progress you made so far on this? That way we can have a look and work on assisting you better with this.

Hi @frixel,

Your column names are L, M, R, not column_L, column_M, column_R.

So you should change the code:

add(add(item()?['column_L'],item()?['column_M']),item()?['column_R'])

into

add(add(item()?['L'],item()?['M']),item()?['R'])

Hi @v-lin-msft @yashag2255

Thanks for your support.

Below the Flow as I have it now.

No errors in the Flow but the outcome (mail) is incorrect.

I now get email 8x, also for 1007 & 1008 while there are not a 1 in the columns.
Also, the value from the columns L-M-R and N-O-S does not appear in the mail. (ResultOfLMR)

Hi @frixel

Can you please share the datatype of each excel column:

Year, Period, Ruleset_1, Ruleset_2, L, M, R, N, O, S

Hi @frixel,

You should set the condition 2 in your flow as one condition OR the other one satisfied your purpose, not AND.Annotation 2019-06-19 143210.png

And you should put the action Send an Email into the IF YES box, not under the action of Condition One. So that you will not receive 8 emails, just 6 emails.

hi @v-lin-msft  @yashag2255

i changed the things from v-lin-msft and than i have NO mails.

Hi @frixel,

Could you share the detail of the flow run to check the value of Ruleset_1 and Ruleset_2?

And to avoid the value confused, you should empty the value of ResultOfLMR and ResultOfNOS after the action Send an email, cause your flow configuration has changed:Annotation 2019-06-19 153808.png

Flow2.png

Hi @frixel

Your configuration of condition 2 is like this, right?Annotation 2019-06-19 143210.png

If yes, you could have a try to change the other way,

length(item()?['Releset_1']) is not equal to 0;

length(item()?['Releset_2']) is not equal to 0;
